Go for a Guava

It is always a good idea to include fruits in our daily meals. Fruits, after all, are a great source of vitamins as well as minerals.

One fruit that I have always loved as a child is the guava. And as there were guava trees in our garden as well as in vacant lots near our home then, it was always within my reach. I would relish eating it with salt! Today, I still love eating guavas and so does my husband 🙂

Take note that the guava is a rich source of Vitamins A and C as well as folic acid. It is also a good source of potassium, copper and manganese. And according to some sources, a single common guava has about four times the amount of Vitamin C as an orange! So go ahead have a guava today 🙂

    Oh my dear! It’s funny because I have been thinking of guava lately. I miss it so much! There arent any available where we are at and I miss it. We used to have these huge guava plants before when I was little and man our neighbors would go crazy for it asking us to give them some. We would sell them at our store during Sunday and they were huge like that size of a newborn. Man! I miss it so much. It tastes so good! Thanks for linking up!

    Ayayay! I so missed guava naman kaayo! 😀 Can you believe how much they cost here, sis? They’re $4.99/lb, and it comes from India. I have only bought once, ever, and that was when I was pregnant with Triz. It wasn’t the best because Pinas-grown are simply the best! ;D I wish to munch on a lot of these the next homecoming trip!
