Walking Your Way to Fitness

My husband regularly lifts weights and exercises at home. I admire him for his desire to always stay fit and in shape. I, on the other hand, have been very poor in doing regular exercise. I used to dance a lot as a way of keeping fit within the confines of the house. But somehow, I have kind of lost my moves 🙂 So I’ve been trying to start a new way of exercising.

As the title may have hinted, the new way I am talking about is walking. Walking for 15-20 minutes 3 times a week. I’ve done that twice now within this week 🙂  As my hubby and I are overseeing a church just a bit outside the main roads and highways, I could do my walking from the church to our house after our Saturday prayer meeting and small group meetings within the week. The time is about 4:30-5 pm so the temperature is cooler; I also get to enjoy a view of the mountain in the distance. I plan to increase the pace of my walking and get a good pair of rubber shoes, too.
